Academic profiling: ORCID

Academic profiling: ORCID

ORCID® iDs: you see them in academic databases, on journal articles and in grant applications. Your ORCID iD is a unique, open digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher with the same or a similar name to you. Having a complete and correct ORCID profile can help you properly present yourself and your publications and make them more visible.

On Wednesday 12 February, at 14:00-15:30 the Library will host a workshop on Academic Profiling and ORCID in room 2.26. During the workshop, we will cover:

  • Author identifiers, why?
  • Scopus profiles
  • ORCID profiles, what are they?
  • Completing your ORCID profile
  • Using ORCID when you publish

Please register if you'd like to join this workshop. For questions, contact your faculty liaison Frea Haandrikman (frea.haandrikman@eur.nl), or check out the online module on ORCID
