Are you a researcher with little to intermediate computational experience? Like to be more efficient and productive? Learn the Python programming language!
This intensive three-day introduction workshop takes you through the ins and outs of Python code and is organized by RSM Research Software Engineering & Consulting (RSEC), EUR Future Library Lab, and EUR Data Stewards.
Easy to learn and widely applicable
Not only is Python an easy programming language to read and understand, but it also has a vast number of practical applications which can be used from the social sciences to economics to humanities. Furthermore, the skills you learn in this course are transferable to other programming languages.
What it entails
- Three half-days in a one-week period.
- Taught by research software engineers from RSM Research Software Engineering & Consulting (RSEC).
- After you have completed the workshop you can request customized support sessions for your own research project, organized by the EUR Future Library Lab.
